Installation Instructions

Remove the resonator box by first lifting the cargo bed and then removing the passenger side seat back rest. Remove one plastic pop pin, and one t20 screw from the cab liner. Lift cab liner and disconnect the two hoses that are attached to the resonator box and remove the entire resonator box.

In the engine bay, use the two supplied ¾” vinyl coated clamps, plus the two nuts and bolts from your resonator box to attach the clamps so they secure the vent hose to the rear of the cab wall (where resonator box was just removed).

Install silicone coupler to air box and slide on supplied hose clamps, the larger of the two clamps goes on first/on the bottom. Secure only the bottom half of the coupler first.

Attach upper and lower pieces of pipe to one another, and slide on the top side of the coupler. Where the upper and lower pieces come together, make a mark on the rear of cab to drill a hole. The hole should be 3/8” for the 1-7/8” vinyl coated clamp. Mark the middle of the flared ends where the two pieces slide together and that is where you will be drilling the hole. Before drilling, align upright piece of tubing with cab (should align with upper door bracket bolts). After drilling the 3/8” hole, insert the supplied bolt from the inside of the cab to the outside of the cab, and secure with one of the provided nuts. Next slide on the rubber space/vibration dampener and then slide on one washer and the second nut provided. Leave loose until the rest of unit is secured.

Install 2” vinyl coated clamp on upper tubing and install rain cap on tubing. Remove t40 bolt on upper door hinge (will be top bolt). Tighten upper clamp (while doing this, make sure the unit is not going to rub on anything – adjust slightly if needed). Tighten the 1-7/8” vinyl coated clamp and the clamps on the coupler (adjust height to proper fitment).

Tilt the bed all the way up and notch out the plastic skirting on the front of your bed so it does not interfere with pipe.

Reinstall cab liner and seat.
